CONCEPT
The main idea behind the poster is based on the two words of the title “knowledge” and “power”. For this reason I tried to depict both of these meanings in one visual icon. Knowledge is represented by books as if they are standing on a shelve. Those books connote the charging bars of a battery. On the other hand the battery represents the word “power”. The colour combination chosen is highly contrasting to give an eye-catching as well as modern character. Finally, the typography is applied on a simple squared grid above the main theme having equidistant kerning, giving a contemporary feeling.
